OPTIK THEATRE

Optik Theatre is a professional company known originally just as Optik (from the German for ‘optics’) that has been making work for over four decades. With a mission to be special, to excite and to entertain Optik has toured its award-winning theatre to venues and arts spaces around the world. Now based in South West London the company has recently produced a series of local performance projects in Richmond upon Thames including three productions specially created for the WW1 Centenary programme. The company’s current project The Script Room is an innovative showcase for new theatre writing bringing over thirty new plays to Richmond and Whitton libraries.
